We are pleased to announce the establishment of the Faculty Development Committee (FDC), which will support faculty across the Department of Urologic Sciences (DUS) and the centres of the Mohseni Institute of Urologic Sciences (MIUS)!
The FDC will play a key role in strengthening faculty development across research, clinical practice, and education. The committee will lead initiatives that support research productivity, clinical innovation, teaching excellence, mentorship, wellness, and leadership development, while also helping to bring the department together by fostering engagement and creating opportunities for faculty to connect, collaborate, and grow.
We are also pleased to share that Dr. Kourosh Afshar has been appointed Associate Head, Academics for the Department of Urologic Sciences. In this role, Dr. Afshar will chair the Faculty Development Committee.
The FDC will hold its first meeting in the coming weeks. We thank the faculty members who have agreed to serve on the committee.
