Ali Khatib was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Master’s in Biomechanics before moving to Vancouver for medical school at the University of British Columbia. During his clerkship in Chilliwack, Ali was introduced to Urology by Dr. Goodman and quickly became drawn to the field’s balance of surgical precision, innovation, and long-term patient care. Outside the hospital, he enjoys hiking BC’s Mountain trails, training in martial arts, and spending time with family and friends.
