Dr. Davide Cina appointed Assistant Professor
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Davide Cina has joined the UBC Department of Urologic Sciences as an Assistant Professor, effective October 1, 2026. He also joins the Centre for Kidney Transplantation and Immunology within the M.H. Mohseni Institute of Urologic Sciences as a Senior Research Scientist.
Dr. Shaghayegh Nouruzi receives CRS 2026 Next Generation of Scientists Award

Asli Munzur receives 2026 PCFC Grant-in-Aid research award
Asli Munzur, a PhD candidate at the Vancouver Prostate Centre, has received a 2026 Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada (PCFC) Grant-in-Aid Award for her research investigating how prostate cancer responds to targeted radiation treatment.
