Vikas was born and raised in India, where he completed medical school and a residency in General Surgery. His love for urology began as a clinical interest and evolved into a deep professional calling. He later moved to Canada, carrying a long-held dream of becoming a Urologist. His interest in urology is driven by its integration of surgical precision and medical management, broad procedural variety, and opportunities for innovation. His role as an Associate Physician inspired him to pursue residency training at UBC Urology, renowned for its world-class mentorship, surgical volume, and clinical excellence.
Beyond his clinical interests, he is passionate about backcountry exploration, and cooking and is an amateur singer—enthusiastically untrained but fully committed to off-duty performances.
