The Department of Urologic Sciences is pleased to invite UBC 2nd Year Medical Students from the Island Medical Program, Northern Medical Program, and the Southern Medical Program to apply for the:
Balfour Scholarship for Undergraduate Education
The successful applicant will be awarded a grant of $500.00 while attending a 3rd year elective in Urology in Vancouver.
Applications for the scholarship should be addressed to Dr. Brian Mayson, Program Director, Undergraduate Education, Department of Urologic Sciences (send email to: education.urology@ubc.ca). Please submit a one-page essay describing your interest in urology. The deadline for applications has been EXTENDED to April.30.2019.
The successful applicant will be notified by the end of May 2019.
Dr. Harold L. CHAMBERS Memorial Prize in Urology
A prize of $500, endowed by his partners of The Seymour Medical Clinic in tribute to Dr. Harold L. Chambers, is offered to an undergraduate medical student who has shown interest and proficiency in the field of Urology. This award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Urologic Sciences.
